Delivering Hope to Families Facing Hunger
Nothing is more heartbreaking than witnessing people endure hunger especially mothers, young children, and the elderly, who are the most vulnerable in times of crisis. The suffering caused by food shortages is not only physical, but also emotional, stripping families of security, dignity, and hope. Their reality reminds us of the urgent need for compassion, solidarity, and action.
In response to this critical need, Maeger Tigray Support delivered a food donation valued at 500,000 birr to the Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) Center in Hintsase, West Tigray (Shire). The donation provided essential food supplies to families who have been struggling to survive amid prolonged displacement and severe hardship.
For many of the families at the Hintsase IDP center, access to regular meals remains uncertain. This support helped ease immediate hunger, allowing parents to care for their children with greater peace of mind and restoring a sense of dignity to households that have lost nearly everything.
Maeger Tigray Support remains committed to standing with displaced and vulnerable communities across Tigray. Through timely humanitarian assistance and sustained advocacy, we strive to protect lives and uphold human dignity during times of crisis.
We extend our deepest gratitude to our donors and supporters. Your generosity and solidarity make this life-saving work possible. Together, we are standing for humanity, dignity, and hope ensuring that no family is forgotten.
